I got to meet with the owner of the building that we are more than likely be using, it's next to the casino and right on highway 412, so motels and food will be real close and everything will be easy to find.

I'll get pics of it when I meet him. It has concrete floors and they are not in great shape so we won't have to worry about tearing them up or anything.

I'll have to get the power turned on and stuff. so there be a little extra cost in doing so. I'll get that all figured out next week.

WE'LL DO.

Dustin and I are going to round up the rocks here soon, he's got a dump trailer and I got the bobcat. I could take the rocks to concrete plant down the road from the building ,but I'm going to wait until I meet with the building guy and see if we can stock pile them there. That way we don't have to move them twice.

I got rocks at my old house, some on a job we are doing and I got some from the city that had some left from a project they did.
My plan is to make 3 courses with real rocks and I've been talking with Fishmaxx and he has been working on some fake rocks, light weight cubes, so he's going to build 2 courses. The we'll build a finals course and use part of the real rock courses and mix in some fake rock courses. Should make it interesting.

I sealed the deal on the building today. I got the key. I'll have to get the power turned on. It's about 13,000 and it has elect. outlets all over the place for us. I don't have to worry about the floors and I can drive my bobcat right in the place. There's plenty of parking around the building. It's right on 412 next to the casino ,food and motels just down the street.

The owner said we can stock pile our rock there so we don't have to move it twice. This is a big help to me .

Here's a couple of picks of the inside.

Dustin ,Ricky JR and I went and got the rock today. Thought I'd let you see the rock. It's 3 different kinds of rock. We had to go through the cow crap to get one course, Ricky jr didn't like walking in it for some reason.

Here's course 1, cow crap rock.

Here's course 2 ,that came from my practic course at my old house.

Here's course 3 , the rock that the city is letting me use.

I put my rig in there so you could see the size of the rock. There's a couple of rocks that my bobcat could bearly move.
We'll presure wash all the rock before we take it into the building..
I got a load of dirt coming next week. All the rock has good traction.

Dustin, Ricky Jr and I are getting all the materials on the comp site. We got a couple loads of the city rock to move and I got a load of dirt coming. Theres only a few thinks after that. I got to get together with Dustin and fix the dump trailer, fired the battery cable on it today.

Then we'll be ready for building courses for anybody that can.

Yep, I will come up that Sunday the 28th since I'll be in the area after the comp on the 27th.

I would like to leave by 2-3pm so I can drive back to DeQueen. It's 3.5 hrs from Siloam Springs back to the house. So maybe we can start early? Eh, eh?

Thanks you NWARC guys that could show up today.

We got about half done today, Here's a few picks of the middle course. Very high traction rock, very large rocks, very heavy rock. I think this course might be tough.

Here's 3 different veiws of the course up front. This rock is a high traction rock too, there might be a little moss here and there.

Here's a shot of all 3 course, those poles are about 35ft to 40ft apart, for a scale on how big the courses are.
